Fish Roe Dip (Taramosalata)


200 g fish roe, white or pink

400 g bread, crust-lesswhole grain bread

1 onion

1 clove of garlic

60 ml olive oil

Juice of 2 lemons

½ teaspoon pepper

Execution Method
Let the bread soak thoroughly and then remove as much of the water as possible. In a multi food processor, add the onion, garlic, fish roe and half of the olive oil. Then add the bread and the rest of the olive oil and mix again until the mixture is completely combined. Add also the lemon juice and the pepper. Salt is not required because the fish roe is salty anyway.
